Knowing that much of all the information that you need when seeking out a business can be contained in one government held site probably won’t surprise anybody these days.   It has great uses.  For example if you want to talk to a company with a view to either investing or getting them to invest in your company,  then you will definitely need to know the names and contact details of all the senior officers.   As directors of a company, they will be entered on the data base under Directors.

When you first start up a business you have to make decisions about whether to register your business  . . . .  which is necesary for most legal trading activities.  Howver there are a few circumstances when it is not called for.    When anyone ants to gain information about your company,  one way would be for them to handle this is to contact a business advice agent.  These are generally in the form of a federation or association who assist small businesses and can give them all kinds of guidance on all matters concerning reporting, taxation, employment law – always necessary these days.  Their fees can sometimes seem a bit like a luxury but in the grand scheme of things, if any legal advice is sought in almost any sphere, then the advisor’s knowledge will save the company many hours of worry and concern.
